4 HIAB Logistics & Subcontractors
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for commercial marketing. However, to complete the physical delivery of multi-tonne shipping containers to your premises, specific information must be shared:
- Heavy Haulage & Crane Drivers: We provide delivery postcodes, access instructions, and on-site contact telephone numbers to our certified HIAB transport crews so they can coordinate road access and crane positioning.
- Payment Gateways & Banks: For processing secure credit card, debit card, or BACS payments.
- Depot Yard Security: Verifying collection release notes and customer identity for hauliers collecting containers directly from our Magnet Road yard in Grays.
5 Data Retention Schedules
We retain personal data only for as long as is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was gathered:
- Invoiced Financial & Contract Records: Retained for a minimum of 6 years following the end of the applicable financial year to comply with UK HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) statutory record-keeping regulations.
- Unfulfilled Quote Inquiries: Contact details gathered via Forminator or web quote forms that do not convert into an order are securely deleted after 24 months.
- Website Log Files: Kept for 90 days for network diagnostics and cybersecurity monitoring, after which they are purged.
